About Evensong Ministries

Evensong Ministries has been providing pastoral ministry on Cape Cod for fifteen years.  We began as Evensong Retreat Center (on Lower County Road in Harwich Port) in 2002, and over the years we provided a peaceful and prayerful retreat setting for over 1500 individuals and groups from Cape Cod and far away.  People joined us for programmed retreats and for private individual retreats.  Many Cape Cod Churches brought groups to our facility for a time apart.  We also offered weekly Mass in the Ecumenical Catholic Tradition and as attendance grew a church community began to form. That community eventually became what is now St. Mary of Magdala Church.  Evensong Retreat Center also provided Reiki treatments and training as well as spiritual direction.

In 2017, Marie and Jim David, the principals at Evensong Retreat Center, sold the Evensong facility in order to focus upon pastoring St. Mary of Magdala Church while continuing to provide pastoral care in other areas for the wider Cape community,
and Evensong Retreat Center became Evensong Ministries.

Evensong Ministries offers:
Retreats on site at your church for small or large groups
Reiki Treatments and Training at all levels
Spiritual Direction
Officiants for Wedding Ceremonies
Ceremonies for other important life moments
Pastoral leadership for St. Mary of Magdala Church
